Every suite contains traces of the past. It is alive through photographs, furniture, paneled ceilings, mirrors, and paintings. The rooms are named after the individual purposes of use, going back to the time when our house was a real theatre. The walls can tell stories if you listen to them – allow your imagination to run free.

I live in the house myself which makes it easy for you to meet and ask me for tips regarding restaurants, museums, hiking tours, wine tastings, and sights. I know Florence very well and I am happy to help you to get the best experience in Florence as possible. I can tell you many stories about hidden art treasures, the most beautiful churches in Florence, romantic walks across the Ponte Vecchio or along the river as well as many other treasures within this unique city.
I originally come from Germany and I lived with my family for three decades in the USA. When I was a teenager, my parents, my brother and I spent our family vacations in Tuscany over many years – every Easter, Pentecost and summer holidays we were here and got to know and love the country, the people, the art, the food, the sun, and the sea. In acquiring this B&B in which I welcome you as my guests, a lifelong dream became true and I only wish to make your stay in Florence as unforgettable as possible.
